OUR VISIT WITH COMPASSION

In March a team from Cornerstone was blessed with the opportunity to visit our partners at Compassion Nicaragua and children from our sponsorship cluster.

Our team members were able to spend the day with their sponsored children, learn about Compassion’s projects, and create some beautiful memories. It was an incredible day and we are blown away by Compassion’s work in Nicaragua and the love they have for these children and for the Lord.

In 2022 we celebrated our one year anniversary of our partnership with Compassion. To celebrate, Compassion has created a plaque with many of the children that have been sponsored through those that have indicated Cornerstone as their home church.

We are encouraged by the number of people who are choosing to invest in the lives of children and partnering with Compassion “to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name”. Eighty-eight of the sponsorships have been made from our Nicaragua cluster since the partnership launch!

We encourage sponsors to continue to get to know your children through letters, gifts, even visits (virtual or in person) (please see Compassion’s website for more details).
